1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

It is somewhat confusing, and I've been pushing for some clarification around branding etc. The simple (and reasonably accurate) answer is that Dress for Success is largely focused on women and Wear for Success is largely focused on men.

The 'Expert Network' (about to be rebranded, reveal at the lunch I believe) is the networking group formed within and in support of WFS and the equivalent group for DFS is called 'Yes!'.

    Simple.

And thanks for your support, see you at the lunch! While you have the credit card out, have you signed up for Bond yet? Email will be going out to members next week but SF members got advanced notice a week or two back of the booking site being live: http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=69089

This will be the flagship event for the Expert Network and we're hoping for a strong response as the charity is very nervous about the up-front cost involved, so I urge all Melbourne SF members to please come along if you possibly can, and promote the event to anyone off-forum that you think might be interested. Same for any non-Melbourne members who may be in town next Feb 6 or know people who will be!

    No robots.

The bond event will be interesting. I'll be straight out of hospital and doped up on oxy.

Awesome, thanks Gerry! The wife too I hope, there will be plenty of girls there, it's not just a blokes event (the Yes! group are promoting it to their members as well).

You can be a maniacal villian.

A quick plug for Jason's ties (Henry Carter to newbies). Just received my 7-fold. Absolutely beautiful, and a personal note by the man himself, very rare these days. Highly recommended.

Oh yes, Jason, I am also waiting for your upcoming flannel trousers.

No clothes are the only option.

In fact, dying is pretty much the only option.

This is the last summer I'm spending anywhere near here. It's atrociously awful.

Just wondering if it would be appropriate to bring along partners? The GF is keen to attend.

Someone thinks I have a lack of apathy for Mandela because I don't want to read tributes to him on a clothing forum.

    Sydneysiders with small-ish feet,

    Just seen:

A pair of brown calf Loake Blackfriars in size 7F in Enrico Santi in Pitt St for the grand total of $165.

    A very nice looking shoe.

Sure is. Lennier is encouraging it.

(...and you'll need someone to drive you home.)

I have a high instep, we might feel okay in a shoe which accommodates high insteps, but the situation will be terrible for me for another shoe with low instep.[IMG]

I will PM it to you.

Clarke and Haddin are batting well! I thought we might have been on the ropes at stumps yesterday. Now we are in with a chance! What do you think?

    Mr Hoffa

Pup and Hads have certainly dug their heels in... Catches win matches, England dropped Pup and others, now look at the damage > brilliant!

We need to post 600 & declare - and let our bowlers stick it to em!

    My deepest respect to Mandela...

Mr Fox, any news of your Oscar Wilde commission? It was a blue peak lapel, off memory?

I wan't a french navy db or peak lapel in a linen blend for an upcoming Sydney summer wedding, still don't want to go MTM yet, considering Suit Supply....

I like you Jimmy however you seemed to get get fired up quicker than Mrs DB, that's impressive!

Absolutely! Definitely not intended to be a blokes only event. The more 'Bond Girls' the better :)

Good to hear, glad you like the tie, and the service.

    I have my moments mate...

Guys a heads up, I haven't advertised this yet but up until xmas I'm offering free regular post shipping on all orders over $79.95, full priced stock only. The Style forum discount code will work with this so it's a great deal. Just put items in cart as usual, checkout, enter the Style forum discount, then enter the code "freeship" and a free shipping option will come up to select, then just pay as normal.
