1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Gents,

I thought I'd offer these here before I put them on the B&S thread.

For sale, light brown BNWT Howard Yount wool flannel trousers in size 52 (about 36).

    $150 ONO.

    Forgive my shameless plug.

    PM me if interested.

Charcoal and darker grey suits and trousers, white and cream trousers, seersucker, some browns.

I'd be wary about blue suit and navy shoes.

Depends on how dark the navy is - if they are a true navy they can be a good substitute for black shoes with a blue suit.

It all depends on the type of shoe too. If we're talking a dark navy oxford obviously that will go with different things than mid navy suede bluchers.

Can't say I really see either going with brown though. You'd look like a sort of inverted iGent, with blue shoes and a brown suit instead of the other way around.

Could look ok, though I think grey trousers look much better with navy shoes than brown or khaki. A general rule is don't wear navy shoes with anything you wouldn't wear black shoes with. (That's not a "Manton" rule btw, just a rule of thumb).

I'd like a pair of navy double monks.

Those are very nice. I'd like to try them on though, especially as DMs are a lot less forgiving fit-wise than say lace ups. Ideally I'd like to travel to Melbourne and see the boys at the eponymous shoe store for a pair of double monks... Maybe next year.

Plus I'm in a no purchase phase at the moment. Still need to get some wear into these before I buy another pair of shoes:
