Notice: Right now the site is slow because we are fixing all the images from the past 4 months. Many of you noticed that these were missing, and we are fixing that problem now. Unfortunately, it is taking up a lot of resources and causing the site to be slow.

Me thinks the Canberrians should meet at the Wig & Pen for an evening of sartorial ales.

I wonder when we will get a Hooters in Sydney? Instant venue for SF meet-ups. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Hardly any need for mockery, or am I not seeing the inside jokes here?

In any case, I just wanted to instigate some conversation.

There used to be one one Cronulla - you need to get out of the inner west/lower nth shore/inner east and explore the real 'Straya.

Ernesto is a resident word player, punster and wit. That is fairly representative of his online conversation - and I am fairly sure the only people he was mocking were fhx, PS and himself.

ha ha but there is actually more Canberrans than you think on the forum that lurk. I certainly have a few on my client list that I know are members but don't know their usernames.

Space wanderer, right here. Also have dabbled in plains nomadicism and beach dwelling.

    Hard life.

Just got around to reading Gerry's post on Tailor Caid, great write-up and pics! Glad the meet went well, went to watch son play soccer (even though I despise the game [IMG]).

I've never really gotten the filson obsession myself, but I'm not a bag/briefcase kind of guy because I drive everywhere. They're just canvas bags to me! I guess if I had to have one I'd want some more refined in leather. They make a bit of fly fishing stuff but I've only ever seen hipster fly fisherman using them, so maybe that's my bias...

Anyway, I thought filson dealers were unable to discount anymore online or they would lose their dealer rights, that was on the cranes country store thread I saw it.
