1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Bresciani > Sozzi imho.

On jocks, I think it's true that once people find a brand they like they stick to it for years. Personally, I seek out Oroton and CK (both only when on sale).

Pinky, oil and suede - try plain unscented talc powder on it for a few days to see if it will absorb it after all this time. Just let it sit then brush off. Repeat. I can't remember the chemistry to free oil up then absorb it. (Maybe heat?) Beat up stained suede looks worse than anything else.

I've tried any and all kinds of underchunders. Cheap, expensive, in between in an effort toto be comfortable and, on occasions, presentable. Now its Rivers only. Not all of their stuff. Just one line mainly. I can't describe it. They seem to have a sale occasionally some buy a bunch and put them in back of cupboard. The trouble with buying them in bulk is that they all we arm out at once. Once mine wear out I give them to Gerry as he's mentioned. The rest I cut up and use for rags to polish shoesshoes, wipe bike down etc.

    Huge fan of Bresciani.

Their OTC socks holding up even after weekly wear for a year. And they don't 'bite' into your skin.

    Mazarin kinda 'bites' for me.

I haven't tried Sozzi yet, so can't be of too much help there.

Looking to pick up a new tie for a wedding I'm attending soon.

I have navy, burgundy and brown covered.

Thinking light blue (vanda) or something a bit more summery and more informal (no CBD here). Not into wild prints, repps or patterns, generally. Prefer texture and smaller patterns (dots are fine, madder is OK if muted, everything else is overkill for me). Preferably to be worn with a navy suit and white shirt. Thought of black knit, but it's a bit sombre.

Recommendations for up to about $130?

Matt I've got a bunch of new ones just about to land, in lighter colours and summery textures, linen, cotton and mogador blends (plus some new knits too). Lightweight and un-tipped. All going well will be here Friday and i'll get some pics up over the weekend.

Jason, Bresciani and Sozzi are great. I think Sozzi is slightly cheaper (for you to sell) and more readily available. Exquisite Trimmings + Skoaktiebolaget sell Sozzi. So if you want to be 'different' try Bresciani?

As for underwear, I can't get over PS suggestion of Derek Rose. They just present well and look like a fantastic product. I will wait till the Boxing Day sales before copping the 20 pound postage. At the moment they are $50 a pair, which is steep. $35 is about the maximum for a pair of boxer briefs in my opinion.

Oh and a few weeks ago we didn't really come to a swimwear consensus. Nabil put forward the idea of OB Bulldog - Mid Length which I really should have snagged in the Club Sale. What else is there?

No printed silks in this lot, though there is this one that is new already on the site - Printed in Como not Macclesfield if you want to be technical.

Thanks for the feedback (and everyone else's)

I don't mind who prints it, but that's not really what I'm after. Thanks though, I will keep my eye out. I have a few months left.

Rarely, if ever, post WIWT post (as I am far unattractive). However, here I am today, as captured by Christian Kimber. (It is no Gerry, Henry Carter or Coxy but I try).
