1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I had one of those once. Had to send it back. It was faulty. Must have had a leak. Every time I blew it up it went down on me.

Why wait? There are a tonne of girls on the internet in his suburb looking for some fun ;)

On a different topic. I've noticed a couple new moles growing on my face. What do you guys do for general skin care?

    Nice chukkas.

Oli got a bit of stick over minimising his shoe collection but in truth I have a similar collection and a will to not go overboard. Only I add brogues to the mix.

I was at Katrinas this morning getting jacket sleeves shortened and I had to be firm to get the sleeve where I wanted it. "Are you sure?" "Yes!"
The boy in there didn't realise this was my second go with them on the jacket so naturally I had to be.

Anyone got any recommendations for where to purchase a good black or brown leather belt online? mainly for wear with suits/trousers, preferably under $100 per belt would be good

    Cheers in advance,

Do you need it asap? I cannot recommend Equus enough. They are absolutely fantastic. I have five of their belts. They make them to your size. They take about a three weeks from when you order it to receiving it though, which is the only real downside, but that's MTM for you.

Yep, I would probably not bother going anywhere else. He's right over the road from my office and he turns almost everything around same-day. Plus he loves his work; he's as keen on the op shop stuff I bring in as I am.

Is that docklands as in William Street - the docklands end of town?

If so might give them a go next time.

Never had an issue with K's: I just should have been more emphatic last time. I actually took 2 jackets in there and was a bit more insistent when being fitted with the 2nd and it came out how I wanted it.

Must recommend tailfeather - I have their belt and it is a nice piece of kit. Just slightly over your budget but well worth considering

The leather is very thick, 3mm or so, but quite supple and soft - I dont think its bridle leather, too soft. As far as I can tell its burnished by hand. The grain is not bad - not top quality like some of the shoes here, but more than sufficient for a belt.

Of course, buying local helps local artisans!

Sounds like we should form a Docklands sub-branch of the Melbourne members. I can think of at least 4 members floating around here, and a few more who could hop on a tram and be here in minutes. We could plot a coup and overthrow fxh as the Melbourne eminence gris and replace him with Nice Guy Gerry, who will then throw off his veneer of affability and revel in giving vent to his inner sociopath.

I'm the Mannix/Pell/Santamaria with a bit of Chopper, PJK, and Gatto thrown in.

I thought the best thing about Docklands was that you could hop on a tram and get out of there in 4 minutes!
