1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Speaking of DJs shoes, probably the best value there were sone suede Italian Milana brogues for $68.

My shirt purchases were from the DJs store in Market St (Sydney). I looked in at their shoe section while passing. Loake Design (more directional, Goodyear-welted, India-made line) were discounted down to around $270 from the original price of around $450. I already have a pair of these - which are excellent as daily wearers - so I didn't jump.

Milana are crap. Avoid with extreme prejudice, although at $68 I suppose you could buy a pair to wear once to your mother-in-law's funeral.

This question has probably been asked, but where are the good shoe stores in Sydney? Melbourne has a few. Apart from a few CJs out the back of Herringbone, there don't seem to be any shoo porn merchants in the Emerald City.

Even Shanghai has a Santoni boutique...

There is Joseph's, Henry Bucks and Herringbone, just Church's and Loakes, but at nearly double the price you get from UK, online stores, like Pediwear, So I just try the general size in store, and inquiry online, and buy all of my shoes online. I just don't think there is enough of a market in Australia, all of my work mates wear dress shoes, but to them, Florsheim is like a top brand since it has its own boutique, and spending more than $200 on a pair of shoes is unbelievable.

Need gloves asap! My hands are freezing out of control and I still need to type/write. Where can I purchase some good clothes? (saw someone talk about a Dents sale before but I have no idea where to get them since it seems you can only get them for wholesale on the website)

    Not seeing the sale: http://www.mrporter.com/Shop/Designers/Dents

Certainly not $25 like someone mentioned earlier.

I got a pair of chester jeffries in the mail - they are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend a pair if you are after leather. Spring for the cashmere.

Does anyone have any idea where a decent casual coat can be found? Thinking something like a Harrington jacket.

Hmmm Chester Jeffries leather or Henry Carter Cashmere. Could you link me the chester jeffries you got? There's such a large range I have trouble deciding the correct one to buy.

Were those a pair of MTM gloves? I'd love to purchase a pair for winter, but I haven't gotten around to asking them about their turnaround time or if they had a rush service. Would anyone be able to answer this?
