There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Odd to suggest that grey sportscoats don't go with grey pants. Thats the only colour I wear my coats with. My Winter and summer weight light coloured jackets are all worn exclusively with light, medium and charcoal grey, either flannel in winter or tropical wool in summer.
Nothing looks nicer than a pale grey subtle herringbone cashmere jacket, patch pockets, with an icy bue shirt, pale grey tie and grey pants.
Grey coats look appalling with dark blue pants and look very average with jeans.
What else do you suggest they be worn with?

Spectre, I just can't agree with you there - a mid-grey, herringbone weave jacket with a pair of fairly dark blue or navy trousers is a good look.

I have seen some people doing the contrasting grey look (mid-grey jacket, dark grey trousers, for example) and it can look good but regrettably I think that most people who try it don't do it very well and they wear colours that are too similar.

The cold weather has forced me to purchase some of Henry Carters gloves. And whilst i was there two more ties to the evergrowing collection. Was tossing up between the grey wool and the grey knit. Went the knit.

Canberra winters are certainly codler than sydney's! -3 here this morning and i can hardly type my hands are that cold.

This is a very odd summary. Navy and dark denim are probably the 2 best colours to wear with mid to light grey. What your describing sounds like it's suffering from a severe lack of contrast. All greys that aren't monotone, but kind of similar shades. To me, light grey and charcoal works really well, but light grey and mid grey doesn't, same with mid grey and dark grey unless you have a block of colour to break it up some how, like some navy somewhere (like what I'm doing today).

    Anyway, today.....

Chilly -3 start to the day in our nations capital

Good man. The grey cashmere knit is a perfect teachers tie.

P.S For anyone interested in the smart gloves, I've had a run on them the last few days now it's cold and am down to the last 5 pairs of each colour.

"a" not "the". There are many great teachers ties (for those left that still wear them), and most of them are knits in my opinion.

    Teacher?

(Its part of the Alcoholic Geography Teacher look I'm fond of - but I like it with (brown) cord jacket and knit tie.)

Iwishiwasricher is a teacher, (as far as I'm aware), hence my comment on it being a good teachers tie. Let's face it, a lot of people wearing ties these days are doing so because they want to, not because they need to. Whether it's a teacher, public servant, account manager or whatever doesn't really matter.
