The previous discusison about Melbourne restaurants has given me pause to think, are dress codes a thing of the past or is it due to it being January that the notiion of dress code goes out the window. I went to Bells at Killcare just after NYE wore pink cotton shirt, navy linen trousers and cap toes, the wife went suitablly attired. The ambience, surrounds, we sat on the terrace and food are great I think it does have at least one hat from the SMH. However and I know its been hot but the amout of people who rocked up in cargos and thongs amazed me. Is this some new trend in quality dinning I am not aware of?
