I don't mean to blow Jason's trumpet but, when I bought my HC ties, he gave me a pair of ribbed Pantherella socks. When they arrived I was most skeptical. They are wafer thin cotton socks. I thought they would quite literally disintegrate after one wear.

Anyway, I had also bought some 'cotton rich' socks from Myer. After about 4-5 washes, the Myer socks have started to 'pill'. The same number of washes for the Pantherlla socks has had no effect on the sock at all. The ribbing is still 100% new. It is quite incredible.

The only problem is, I am a big fan of thick socks. Pantherellas are anything but.

^ Happy Socks are reasonably thick cotton found they wear ok, I have a coupe of pairs of Pantherella wool socks they are thiner than my Marcolini but I mostly wear wool socks all year round.

Happy Socks will no doubt be on sale at DJ on Boxing Day, now since dinner is on excuse me it time for a cold one or two.

If it's at all hot there as it is here, you will need 3 at the very least : )

Either its the heat or you have been drinking.

I still wear Bonds singlets but since 2008 I have had to go up a size as they shortened the length or else i wear wife beaters.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this:

Definitely filmed at The Armoury in HK!

PS: I just expanded the description and saw this: "Special thanks to The Armoury: http://thearmoury.com/artisans/"

Guys could anyone recommend me a brown leather satchel bag appropriate for work? $500 is my cap.

I love the RMW bags but at $1K they're out of my price range :(
