1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Heads up if anyone is looking at Mantorii for some MTO shoes, fucking forget those guys.

Sent me the wrong size shoes and now I have to pay to send them back for a remake, unfucking believable.

    Avoid Mantorii at all costs.

Thanks JM. I actually really like optical viewfinders so that could be a factor. Apparently while they have the same sensor size, tech in the x20 makes it effectively bigger, which could be a consideration.

As I've been using my iPhone for pics, anything will be an improvement!

^^ it's my understanding that most cameras short of a DSLR will have an electronic, rather than an optical viewfinder. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I think the camera on the iPhone (4S and 5) is brilliant for what it is and eclipses many P&S cameras.

Some of Fujifilm's range of "X" series cameras have optical viewfinders, which is why some photo enthusiasts have gone nuts about them (well, that and they're a great range of cameras, too).

True, but isn't this reserved for the x100/s which has a fixed 35mm lens and APS-C sized sensor? The X10 & 20 have EVF, right?

Worn in very well so far. Wore my latest pair yesterday to an afternoon tea at the RACA club with the wife. I can add further pics (in addition to the pics of them I've added in the past) if you like.

Thanks, Bunny. It's been a fun ride the last 10 or so years. We've done some interesting things. PM me and I can send you a sample of my work.

No, the X10 has a pure optical viewfinder - you look through the viewfinder, not through the lens itself (which actually means that you're not seeing precisely what the lens "sees").
