1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Had a look, thanks. No brogue boots, but some lookers for sure. SM does very distinctive lasts, probably a bit too sleek for the type of boots I'm after.

Specs? I was thinking of copping one too but I'm still not sure...I got a MBP and a Samsung Galaxy SII and I fear it might be too many devices if I also end up with an iPad!

I'd tend to agree, but the general idea this time was that patch pockets would allow the coat to be worn as a separate. Since it is primarily going to be a suit, I wasn't courageous enough to go with 3 patch pockets.

Now I have seen if made up, the jacket is so dark that the patch pockets are very subtle. i doubt people will even notice unless they look closely, and the breast pocket will have a PS in it.

I think it works, just not quite in the way I'd envisaged.

Vass, Alden, occasionally Lindricks pop up on eBay/B&S. Skye 2 will be similarly priced to Carmina's from Epaulet iirc. Alden's come in mid 600s for shell in non rare colours.

Ha ha ha - Rockpool is a wanker's paradise... Now I see why it's your favourite.

And muppets on here is not a new phenomenon. They've been around since about May 2007. Maybe stick to insulting people who don't bite back before you get your misshapen head bitten off ;-)

    Go take a powder Benji.

I like the standard ipad case that folds out as ive been unable to find an ideal leather one - patina required. The bisonte one does look good though!

i quite liked rockpool @ the rocks when the focus was on seafood.. i dont like the one on hunter st i can grill a steak at home

Likewise, and the clientele irks me. Look no further than this thread to see what I mean.

Funny, I thought about this long and hard and it occurred to me in a dream... Jesus was holding a water bottle and he told me: I don't have anything to prove to you.

Now go play in the sand pit with the other toddlers and try not to shit yourself this time ;-)

C'mon gents, can't we all just get along [IMG]

Edit: those beers in the emoticon prompted me to ask, is there a Sydney meet-up? I know you Melbourne lot seem to have an occasional catch up, how 'bout one in the city some time in Sydney?

Jason / other Canberra residents, I'll be vacating one sartorial wasteland --Brisbane-- for another in a few weeks. Anything you feel I need to know, both re: clothing and otherwise?

(Feel free to PM if you want to keep it out of this thread.)

Was just boot 'window-shopping' online, thinking of footwear to go with a pair of jeans and came across these on Herring's website:

Some nice looking boots. Also heard a lot of good things about the Wolverine 1000 miles and LL Bean Katahdins on Reddit's MFA theads; are they to be trusted?
