Not that I know of, but it could be mail forwarded from the UK, or you could have a friend send it to you.

Yeah, and the Uniqlo one is 100% polyester. Sounds like a sweat factory..

There's a guy around on these boards who does free uniqlo forwarding... apparently he is quite reliable.

Anyway, what kind of linen blends and in what proportions should I be looking at for a summer shirt that will be breathable but somewhat wrinkle resistant? Or is this simply unfeasible...

Edit* answered my own question: http://www.styleforum.net/t/60236/linen-shirts

Looks like 50/50 or 60/40 cotton/linen is the go.

I think I might try and get a BD white and BD sky blue in those made for summer if I can find somewhere with the fabric...

BD since I think they will get worn sans tie quite a lot - my office goes to a "Friday" dress code for much of summer.

    ^ Found a white BD cotton/linen; http://www.mrporter.com/product/176160

Lands End has a few casual shirts as well. Hopefully ModernTailor get some more fabrics in as their current three are quite gaudy and very meh IMO.

    Thanks but no stock left!

Kent Wang also has an 80/20 shirt but with a spread collar.

I am hoping to get one made really - slowly trying to convert all my shirts to MTM.

speaking of cotton/linen blends ... what you think of our blue cotton/linen blend popover shirt sample? Fresh in the mail so excuse the creasing and camera phone pic

We were most concerned about the placket length but when this is worn it looks alot better.

Welcome any feedback before we go to final production! Thanks

Placket way too long. Prefer non-button down.

I'm in the market for one of those for summer and would be very interested except yeah the placket is way to long IMO. What is the fabric blend?

Oh and I have to disagree with the above I think don't think they look right if they're not BD collar... Epaulet made a point collar popover recently which just looked a bit strange to my eyes.

I think you need to be going with something a lot closer to Gant Rugger's placket:

    Hey Rob,

I reckon you should take it home, wash it and take a photo with you wearing it. I don't mind it with the BD, it makes it look like less of a polo shirt. Be careful about shortening the placket too much, too short and you wont be able to get it on! It won't stretch like a polo remember.

    X-post from my thread

Guys we had a nice little write up in Australian mens fashion website Manuscript today

Looking at purchasing some Saphir Renovateur polish and conditioner, and Saphir Medaille D'Or wax polish. Any places in Oz or do I need to order from overseas?
