    too bad we cant send items outbound for cheap! cost me $40 to send a shirt to the US last week :( that was the cheapest option with tracking!

    Those companies have negotiated rates withe shipping companies. You will probably notice the bigger the company the cheaper the shipping rate.

    I thought the same. But, I've had a look on the Loake UK website and the 'Hilton' is an 1880 model. The model shown on the site looks exactly like the one posted here earlier, so I assume they're the same.

    IMO, Loake 1880 calf is very hit and miss. Sometimes, it looks and feels luscious, other times it's stiff like cardboard.

    Never been to that store. Its a bit of walk form town hall. What shoes do they stock ? Did they have any loake kempton by any chance. I have been eyeing on them for some times.

    It's not really that far from Town Hall, it's just opposite World Square. As to their range of shoes, they mainly have L'Stony, their own brand and a few Loakes. Didn't notice the names of the individual models except for the Hilton, sorry.
