    I disagree.
I hate wearing a jacket and I think that it can look good with a shirt and tie no jacket.

The beauty of this combo is that I can wear a shirt that would never go with any jacket (squash green gingham check) and a dark navy tie with navy trousers.

If you are wearing a crappy shirt and a terrible tie it might look like you are a "used car salesman", if you have style you shouldn't have to worry.

Spiced ham is SPAM. The institchu and John Blackwell exchange seems like Internet spam to me..

    Must be the winter blues

Yeah got that, you must have just got in ahead of me by a few seconds on your post. Just seemed bizarre the way the whole thing was typed. SPAM fail I guess.

    We're on to you Blackwell....

Speaking of all things shoes, I've decided to give myself a crack at a spit-polish on some shoes. I thought I'd start with some old Ghillie Brouges I have, and whilst the photo may not do full justice, I'm very happy with the initial result. It's suprising how well they come up with a bit of work. Was using Saphir polish for those who are interested. It's definitely made me keen to keep up the work on these shoes and start looking at the others (or other in actual fact - i still need to acquire myself a decent black business type shoe...)
