I bought. a pair of Kangaroo from Nungar Trading Co in 2010 for $300. As for the current price its lost touch with reality.

PSA: Carmina are waiving their MTO fee this weekend. So I can get the custom chukka boots I've been dreaming of just in time for...the middle of summer.

On an unrelated note, has anyone been to HK lately? Anywhere worth hitting up clothes-wise other than Armoury? The parlous state of the AUD means that buying is unattractive but I can look...

Hi guys, I'm looking for sunnies. I'm in Sydney.
Any brand/location to recommend please ?
Thanks

Persol. Classic style and one of the best builds unless you want to go super high-end. I find the classic tortoiseshell a bit lairy for my colouring, but they do some softer browns which are good.

Tassels for shoes?

Prologue for men's clothing?

I remember reading in a thread here that the Armoury has set up a subsidiary called Drop93 that sells leftover "new old stock" stock and also lightly used clothing. It's mainly online but it also has a store in HK: https://drop93.com/

There's also a little store in Wan Chai called Kapok that sells clothes (mainly casual) and also knick-knacks, stationery, art and other stuff.

Not sure that it's really the best time to be visiting HK at the moment, though!

PMQ has some small artisianal shops which may be of interest. Funky coloured shoes, leather jackets etc.. Drop93 store is kinda out of the way and isn't open every day. If you are interested in streetwear there's I.T in Hysan 1, opposite the uniqlo flagship store. Time square is also near by if you want the popular fashion labels
