Nathan Baxter is the real deal. He's a trained cordwainer. Refurbished a couple of my C&Js, and even does St Crispins as well. Highly recommended.

Just bought a mid level grey market diver and was looking for recommendations in the Melbourne cbd for someone to fit the bracelet at a reasonable price.

I'm aware I could do it myself but I don't have the tools and would prefer someone else do it.

Few places seem to have polarised reviews - ekselman for example.

Thewatchgallery on little collins. That's where I changed straps. It may have been 10 clams....

Prior handing over to the store show them that its brand new and you expect them not to scratch. My experience AD they are bunch of idiots and both watches of Switzerland and bloody Gregory jewellers scratched the hell out some of my watches. I now change straps and bracelets and do much better job. Just be careful. It takes less than 5 minutes to do a chance carefully.

On a another note received my belstaff roadmaster today. First impression - the quality is there. Attention to details are great- even stitching throughout, no loose threads. Zipper and snap buttons are quality items and build to last. Lining is a durable but very soft to touch. Made in Romania. But under very strict quality control. Fit is as I expected. I ordered a it36 and can fit a suit jacket underneath easily. I am sure I can also fit a sweater under the suit. Mr porter packed it nicely and included a suit bag to protect my other clothing from wax marks. They also thrown in a plain white pocket square as my first order from them.
Is it worth the $850+ price tag? No.
    What are the alternatives? Barbour
Belstaff vs Barbour quality? Belstaff wins simply. Starting from the quality of the waxed cotton, attention to details, lining, fittings and so on. But it will be unfair to compare them due to the cost difference.
Should you get one ? If you love the design and can justify spending the money absolutely.
I will post some fit pictures when I get a chance.

    Thanks for the review.

Look forward to the pics, can't justify price but like the design. Logos plastered brighlty on the Barbour international put me off that one.

Enjoy your new jacket. This jacket will look better with wear.

    Do I want these?

The only downside I can see is that they're 1/16th of a Rolex.

Liam is offering 10% off the entire line on the night as well. That brings Tauer down to below the best price I've found online (Essenza Nobile).
