1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This actually happened in 2014. They bought 60% of the venture.

Suspect there's a fair bit of marketing in the move. Zegna has been promoting Australian wool since the 60s through perpetual awards etc.

Reminder. Good value. I'll try and give a quick description of a bit of the Mens stuff in teh next day or so. . There is a lot of new and near new shirts for sale. Mainly smart casual but good quality - Possibly $5 each. We keep almost every white or pale blue shirt for clients. There's some nice jackets and a small number high ish end suits.

Don't forget this - Thursday Night - usually a great night. Don't be afraid to come along if its your first time. We're a friendly old mob really. Increasingly this gathering is not just men.

I'm also interested in some TF decants. Is anything coming up?

SF would obviously be preferred but if nothing comes about there some good Aussies on eBay offering decants inc. TF at reasonable prices.

I'll be there. This reminds me; I went to Hermen's pop-up last weekend. Mitch told me that they support Suitably Connected, and offer a 15% discount if you bring in some clothing to donate to the cause when you place an order. Nice initiative.

I deal with M-C often. He's a great guy with quite a few TF decants going. He usually has some of the discontinued stuff too. Unlike a lot of USA members, he's fine with shipping to Australia. Mind you, the $A is starting to hurt on that front.

I've dealt with both @Petepan and @Master-Classter and they've both been very good.

M-C has a wider range than Pete, but he mentioned to me recently that he's getting out of selling decants of Tom Ford scents.

That means that there may well be some deals to be had but, on the other hand, the range he offers might be smaller or he might be out of stock entirely.

I think he's running out of stock, although he has just offered up a couple on the Scent thread: Lavender Palm was one.

Is global warming affecting fashion? I've noticed a lot more jumpers with cotton/wool blends on offer locally this year more so than last. Also wool/nylon blends. Shudder.

I remember a discussion on here's couple of years ago that speculated that PJs success was partially owed to the fact that the materials used were very suitable to the Australian climate, especially when compared to many offerings Australian men were used to seeing.

Why only 5pm on Friday though fxh? Friday after work was the easiest time to go...recommended if you can make it - esp. if you have a wife (yours or otherwise).
