Gents just an FYI, that Fox umbrella on massdrop is effectively the same as the TM Lewin ones. Mine looks exactly the same but apparently slightly better materials in the massdrop version. However the TM Lewin ones are $70 and can be picked up immediately vs $200 and a wait for the others. I was wrong about China too, it says made in england on the shaft, although you do have to take this with a little bit of a grain of salt.

If, particularly on a shoe with a full inner sock (not insole - see C&J HG), a gap starts to open between the upper and sock as they stretch, the shoes are too tight. That is the footbed is too narrow, beyond all reasonable stretching. If they don't feel right beyond a little tightness after a few hours at home (especially pinching of the forefoot) then return them. No matter how nice they are and good the deal is, they'll see little use after your foot is blistered to pieces. I have several C&J HG and AS Exclusives in boxes waiting to be sold off (calling all 7 UKs). They saw less use combined than my 2nd pair of Luxire trial shoes.

Gentlemen, I'm selling some suits. They are all rather nice, and very reasonably priced. See my .sig for details.

    Gents,

Long time, no post. I think it's been 4 years.

Anyway no time for small talk, straight to business.

Do any of you wear a barbour beaufort? I've been looking for one to wear casually and over a suit.

If so - what have you done with sizing and where would you recommend ordering from?

    Thanks!

Anyone know where i can source (online) a pair of pin stripe tropical wool trousers (flat front /slim line)?

I have checked Epaulet and Howard Yount but cant find any. I have all the greys, navys, dark browns, hounds tooth, plaid etc

Else, what is a good non plain pattern for smart casual at work?

Pin stripe odd trousers look well, odd in my opinion. People will think you are missing the coat. That's probably why you can't find any. Your best bet would be to get a pair made somewhere if you really have to.
