@Journeyman good article. Like this quote “For me, elegance is not a matter of clothes but a matter of mind.” Mind you it does help to have an adequate discretionary budget to achieve it.

Like it. Totally agree with the observation that many of these peacocks have not really played dress-up before.

I tend to find the most stylish men are a bit older 40+. They’ve dabbled and settled on their style then make small adjustments, inclusions that ooh look so good

1843 is such a great magazine. Articles are interesting, and short enough for the staccato morning commute to work.

The NYT's Race/Related feature is good, too.

Nobody at Pitti ever looks like they are having any fun. It's wall-to-wall seriousness.

Vinnies this morning picked up a MJ Bale samurai cut cobalt blue shirt in a 46 which surprised me and also saw a copy of The Man Who Created The Middle East by Christopher Sykes in the fantasy section...should have bought it for ScoMo.

Just grabbed myself some Bresciani's at 40% off.

Heard from my colleague that his friend is launching his new online store... starting with Bresciani's first it seems... interested to see what else he might be offering next year

Pre-orders at 40% off with delivery expected just before Christmas.

You have to apply coupon BRESCIANI40 at check-out and I believe it's free delivery in Sydney CBD

Love the Pitti article. Especially this: "...there is a subset of extreme pogonophiles who wear beards of Rip Van Winklish proportions." :bigstar:

Well I haven't shaved yet this November, but only because I couldn't be arsed shaving, not for any noble motives.

Anyone got any recommendations for glasses, preferably under 300 but open to spending a bit more for longevity (I drop them....a lot).

Read mixed reviews on Bailey Nelson and would rather avoid that type of back and forth if something isn't well made. Still open to them if anyone has recent experience.

I have a pair of B&N prescription sunglasses never had to go back and their four years old.

If you want quality and can pay go to George Skoufis in Paddington.

    Hey guys,

Curious on what people here think of JH Cutler. I know they're on the expensive side, but was considering having a bespoke suit done by them. I've read that they actually outsource their tailoring to another factory, does that impact the overall quality of the suit? Or, is the final product still one of superb quality and fit that justifies the price.

    Thanks!
