1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Anyone lived in Hong Kong can suggest good living areas that are relatively cheaper to rent but still good access to Central - say under 40 minutes PT journey? Don't want to spend much more than hk$10k a month. Or know someone who had a place to rent?

Definitely looking forward to next Friday night game will go out rather that watch on the box.

Anyone on the Northside who is after an alterations tailor Kim Tailor Alteration in Gunners. Took the linen suit I bought recently had legs taken up, waist taken in :slayer: and sleeves shortened at sleeve head all for $55. Great value and excellent work.

Sounds far to cheap for qood job. I pay $15 for cheap hemming/take-up/down - $25 for tailor. $30 for waist alteration. I haven't had a shoulder take-up only (without other shoulder alterations) but I'd expect around $100 for a good job.

It does depend though - I have a great young Vietnamese woman fortunately nearby (3Ks away) who trained with a men's tailor in London for 2 years who does great work fairly inexpensively but not cheap - - $20 hemming for military cuffs ( not turnups) - its her default - - and who (whom) I can trust on a jacket and trousers slimming etc. .She was recommended by a friend who sells designer women's recycled stuff. But that's a real rarity. Shoulders is properly skilled work. For shoulders I go to a real men' s tailor (I have a dropped and shorter shoulder on one side) - I'd (you'd) expect $120++ for shoulders alteration alone.

Never really been taken with DAAS. Not hating but ....

I've just booked NECKS and a week later Steve Earle - kicking myself for missing Rawlings & Welch - magnificent by all who attended.

Sorry didn't realise it s was GF originally. I take it all back- he might snot me.

Not that I couldn't take him on.

He might win but I'd hurt him a lot before I went down.

I know where you live PoP has the contract. Leave town or else. Ollie will handle the legal push back.

Not quite true. I always insisted the "died in" smell was your natural odour. Nothing to do with the clothes...

Also try Taobao (Chinese online store). They sell shoe trees identical to the Woodlores, just not as "cedar" coloured. (Of course, "cedar" trees are not cedar at all. Real cedar shoe trees would probably cost upwards of $1000 per pair. The "cedar" aroma is sprayed on.) Around $15-20 per pair plus shipping.

It helps if you can get a Chinese friend to do the online search for you. Much wider range. Sizes generally 41-42, 43-44 (perfect for my UK9.5 feet), 45-46 etc.

Massdrop.com are currently offering 2 pairs of Woodlore Epic shoe trees for USD $34.95 with USD $38.25 shipping to Australia (any size) - might be worth having a look.
