1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

In ascending price order, the 2 that seem to fit me are OTR are TM Lewis and hardy amies. Fit is paramount and I'm fairly lucky with these 2, although they aren't perfect they are close enough (though different to each other) in their slim fit range for my body. Recently picked up a Thomas pink shirt, but I could only recommend it when heavily reduced (I got one for $80). Not that it isn't nice, but at their $200 price point you are better off MTM, where I have no experience.

All I can say is fit, fit, fit! Try on as many as you can be bothered for and probably stay away from brands that use polyester blends.

Does anyone know if Double Monk are still doing the shoe-service (clean, shine) offering?

We are still on for the Sydney SF meet-up tonight.

The O-Bar suggestion was well received so let's stick with that. They do have a restaurant there, but I have no idea of its quality. I suggest we meet for drinks and then consider our food options - not everyone will necessarily want dinner in any case.

However, I can suggest one idea for dinner, which is to wander a block or so Southwards and try out Long Chim (Thai, from the guy that previously did Darley Thai) in Angel Place. Or wherever.

As to time, how does 6pm sit with everyone?

It would also help if I could get some final idea of numbers. @md2010 @Master-Classter @Bravo Sierra @nabilmust @crappbag all seem to be basically confirmed.

O-Bar is on the top floor of Australia Square Tower, between George and Pitt, just north of Hunter.

Oh yes - dress for hot 'n' humid, and carry an umbershoot. Storms are predicted.

Unfortunately I need to recuse myself from this evening.

Work has put in a conflicting event which I need to attend.

Is that Darley St Thai which used to be in the Newtown and KC? Didn't know he was operating back in Sydney. Might check this out Saturday night before piano recital at CRH.

I could be wrong, but i dont believe Michelin review Australian restaurants. None the less David Thompson is worthy of it.

OK gents, despite the last-minute apologies, we still have a decent quorum of four.

That's me, Master-C, Bravo and Nabil.

See you at O Bar around 6pm.
