For those Australians interested in caring for their leather shoes as we move into winter, I am organizing a bulk buy of Saphir shoe care products.Â

This will include the wax, creme, rejuvenator and several of their applicator brushes.Â

The prices will be competitive with those available online, but shipping will be a significantly cheaper.

If you're interested, let me know (post below or PM) which products you'd like, and in which colors. Once I know final pricing I'll post again with instructions for placing your order.Â

If you've not heard of Saphir, they're French made products using natural waxes and oils (beeswax, carnuaba, natural pine gum turpentine, etc) that are considered some of the best shoe care products you can buy.Â

It should also be noted that this is not intended as a profit making venture. I'll be passing on just the cost of the product and the minimum to cover my import costs, plus your shipping.Â

Cheers,
Andrew.Â

I am iterested, but would it be possible to get an idea of the scope of options and prices?

I'm in, but have never used Saphir products before. What would people recommend as a 'starter kit' for a coupla pairs of Loakes?

I should have prices very soon, today or tomorrow, along with a stock list.

Assuming they are leather, I would definitely start with the rejuvenator (which cleans and nourishes the leather) and either a wax (if you like a shine) or a creme (if you like it a bit more subdued).

You'd pick a color similar to your shoes, a bit darker if you want a more obvious, "antiqued" finish, or a bit lighter if you want to retain the color of your shoes.

Many thanks for organising Andrew. I am potentially interested in rejuvenator and several waxes (black, dark brown, medium brown and mahogany), depending on prices.

This is enough for me to quit lurking and actually post here.

I'm certainly interested, pending pricing.

Pretty much the full range will be available.

I have prices and am just calculating shipping costs so people can add that to the price of the products.

Stay tuned.
