1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

$550 is the winning bid. Congrats, @circumspice, and thanks again to eHaberdasher for their generosity. Go buy their stuff even if you didn't win the auction - the deals are great even without a discounted GC.

Ok. Sh*t is about to get very real. The next auction is a customized T-Briefcase from Neo Nouveau, handmade by Andrew Diba, in your choice of goat or calf.

This is a very special bag, with a retail price of over $2500. Many thanks to Andrew for his generosity in making this piece available for the charity auction. Remember, all proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House.

Bidding will be open until tomorrow at noon ET, or until there have been ten minutes without a bid, whichever comes last. I will start things off with a bid of $1k. Let's do this.

    :slayer: Cheers, Fok.

To those unfamiliar with my work, I'll share about more info about this particular bag. As Fok mentioned, the winner will have their choice of calf or goat. I use the finest French boxcalf and a variety of vegetable-tanned goatskins in a range of colours. Additionally, the interior will be fully leather lined in goat or lamb and we will be able to come up with an interior organizer to suit your needs...and as always, completely saddle-stitched by hand.

BTW Fok is on limited computer time so it's me, David, handling the auction. Fok is @LA Guy even though he doesn't live in LA and we have only his word that he is a guy.

I have now successfuly refrained from being snarky and confusing in a way that might cause Fok to put me in time out.

let's bid this thing up from the current $1K bid. This is a customized briefcase - something that only comes around very occasionally.

btw, we are now sitting (and including @SpooPoker 's generous donation, at $9882 right now. Let's move this well past $10K, and then shoot for $15K. We have a bunch of more auctions to go before Christmas, and hopefully a few between Christmas and New Year.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    You rock!
Potential bidders, check out this album to see how one of these (well, an alligator version) is made.
A range of thread colours, edge colours, and lovely options to customize. Truly an heirloom piece that you can pass down decades from now.

$1200 is pretty boss, but let's see if we can't get to mega-boss. I'm talking gold teeth, grey goose, Cristal, Maybach, jet planes, tigers on a gold leash, boss.
