Attache Cases

I am in the market for a new attache case. I am considering the following makers:

Tanner & Krolle
Swaine Adeney
Valextra

Do forummembers have any views on these companies? I am considering a medium-brown colour, but have not decided yet on the colour of the locks? I am being told that brass colour looks better with brown, although I like the silver color more. Appreciate any views on this issue as well.

I have no opinion except that Swaine stuff is incredible. If you are ready to buy, check out the buying and selling section -- a member is offering a 20% discount on a big ticket Swaine purchase.

I'd try www.pickett.co.uk , they also have a bespoke service. And if money is not a issue, go to Asprey.

For a true attache I'd go with SAB. I have a few Valextra items and they are touch delicate and perhaps at their best in a flap-over style rather than a heavy-duty hard case. Actually, I'm not sure they make a true attache; though the compasso d'oro (sp?) is similar in concept.

anyone knows a non china made decent quality attache case, (not ridiculously priced)?? I found one on T Anthony. Trying to see if any other options are there.
