Heading to Atlanta on business for a quick two night visit. Staying downtown and don't want to head out to Buckhead, etc., on this trip. Any suggestions for a quiet place with good food in the heart of the downtown? There will be a major trade show going on this weekend so trying to avoid the obvious jammed places right next to the Merchandise Mart.

Any kind of food except sushi will work.

Anyone know of a charming place for a good meal? A short cab ride would work.

    Thanks!

Taqueria Del Sol. Very simple but delicious tacos, I recommend the Memphis or the Fried Chicken.

BLT Steak in the downtown W Hotel may have the best cooking in the City at present. Be sure to try the short ribs. The popovers are yummy!

Its just north of downtown, and you would have to get a cab, but I would recommend Pizza Antico in Midtown.
