Asking the impossible? Medium-heavy weight mid-grey washable wool trousers in the UK?

I live on the edge of the countryside/town and the walk to the station means that the odd mud spot isn't an infrequent occurance, so dry-clean only would get pricey, yet I year for a medium/heavy weight grey wool trouser - preferably flannel. Any ideas, UK sources preferred but I'll import if need be.
