HELP PLEASE!!

I recently bought pairs of Tom Ford's FT5407 and FT5304 from this website www.smartbuyglasses.com, which claims to sell 100% authentic eyewear. The package came from HongKong through Fedex international which is nice. However when I look at the authenticity card they look very differently from another genuine pair of Tom Ford that I own. In the pictures below, left is the authentic card, while right is the card with these glasses I bought from them. As you can see, the wordings are different and in different selection of languages, the card material itself is also different (with the authentic one feeling more solid). I check google and confirmed that the certificate of authenticity should look like the one on the left. Can anyone please verify that I bought some knock offs? The frames themselves looks very solid, and I honestly cannot find any fault with them, but the cards, the cloth, and the fonts on the packaging looks different.

Does Tom Ford has a different distribution channel to Asia where their packaging is perhaps different? I am finding possible explanations to believe they are real, since only this website sells sizes of 56mm, every other website sells 54mm only. Please help!

I've been using Adidas frames, made by Silhouette in Austria. I usually pay around $160.

I'm looking for alternative brands. My preferences:

  • Lightweight metal frames
  • Semi rimless or full rim
  • Small eye size; sub 51mm

Without reading this whole thread, what's the best bang for your buck brands under $200?

Thanks buddy, good info there. I decided to go with the Dita Sequioa since they seemed to be the most comfortable and the best quality.

Great choice. I've actually been looking at that frame lately, too (in crystal).

I'm about to replace my Oliver People's Deacon sunglasses with their Ryce model. I was going to buy them on ebay from a seller who seems to have a good reputation, and no feedback complaining of fakes. They can provide generic sunglass lenses, but I want to make sure that I install the best. Will most optical stores be able to order OP lenses, or is there another brand that I should consider installing.

Thanks!

Does anyone know of a P3 frame that comes in smaller sizes (ideally 44 at least) and has a thinner frame (but not wire)? Closest I can find so far is the OP Gregory Peck.

If I buy a pair of glasses on line, can I take them to any opticians to have them put in the lenses, or just to ones that carry that particular frame?
