This is a light grey cotton suit. Can anyone recommend what shoes I should be wearing with this? I have walnut Strands, brown 5th aves, these RL suede loafers, black, burgundy, and brown tassel loafers. Thanks!

Of the shoes you mentioned I would probably go with the brown 5th Aves. That's quite a few tassel loafers for someone that looks so young. I personally don't think I could pull off tassel loafers yet.

I've been thinking about getting some kind of casual jacket and this cotton bomber from BB looks pretty good in dark green. I can get it for around $200 after discounts. Does anyone have any thoughts about the value of this or how it looks?

Looks good, it is a nice casual piece, and Brooks makes good quality stuff. That's a good discount, I would go ahead and pull the trigger.

For summer should I get a few linen shirts, or should I be fine with cotton?

It's up to you, linen is not compulsory but it is nice during the summer. It does look markedly different, so it depends on whether it's a look that you like.

Either one will work. Depends on how dressy you want it to be. The Burgundy will be dressier.

What do you all think? Ok for business? Striping is not as blue as it looks in the picture. [IMG]

I have a SB dinner jacket that according to canon will never be buttoned. I just got it back from alterations and I wanted to get the waist suppressed more, but is there any point if it's going to be worn unbuttoned anyway?

Wait, never worn buttoned? I thought the rule with dinner jackets was that you're not supposed to unbutton them.

Which colors for pants are safe to wear for short guys besides dark (blue or black) colored pants.
Short guys are often recommanded to wear dark (blue or black) colored jeans/pants. I currently have a wardrobe consisting out of these items but I'm wondering which colors are also safe to wear since it gets a bit boring?

Wonderful, you answered two questions - so I should button, and get more suppression :)
