Looking for a slim moderately styled gray suit, 5-800 range. Shoulders are 19, chest is 41, Long torso, waist is 34. Are these odd measurements? I'm having trouble finding a rtw suit. Suggestions for rtw or mtm? Thanks.

I'm pretty much the same size and had success with JCrew's ludlow suit. It's not as well made as Brooks Brothers but it works for me.

I'm looking for a pair of black oxfords, size 6.5D. Ideally under $300. Will be used for special occasions. Keep in mind that I live in Canada.

    I usually find D.S. Dundee under $100.

I say yes. Not your best choice, but not bad.

What color sweater would look best over a blue plaid shirt?

I was thinking off-white or light grey.

Nothing wrong with a DB sport coat. Most will tell you not to wear it with an OCBD, but I do it on occasion.

I am looking for a nice v-neck sweater. I walt'z over to my local J. Crew and Express yesterday and tried on their selections. I tried on this Express sweater (http://bit.ly/yuuTPs) and this J. Crew sweater (http://bit.ly/ysXg2D).

Here are pictures of me in a size M Express: http://imgur.com/a/1pkp8
Here are pictures of me in a size S J. Crew: http://imgur.com/a/Kuq7K
Here are pictures of me in a size M J. Crew: http://imgur.com/a/qWtG3
    Here's a different color M in J. Crew: http://imgur.com/Guk4a

For context, I am 5'10", 38" chest, 32" waist, ~31.5" sleeves (t-rex arms so I'm cool with getting anything shortened). THANK YOU for any feedback on which one is best, color, etc, or whether there is something better out there. I am brand new to not dressing like an idiot and am clueless about what looks good.

Does anyone have an answer to this?! I've been trying for over a week to post a well thought out, highly researched thread, for which I would like an answer on the sooner side. It looks like I can quote posts now, but I still can't start a thread, and I'm getting a bit impatient. I can't even find the name of a moderator to contact. Any help?

    Thanks!
