Nobody is going to search eBay and B&S for you.

Silver is metallic, and hence, shiny. And I've seen vests I would describe as silver, they are invariably shiny, and they are not pretty. If they were flat, the color would be "gray".

Perhaps it was just some confused language, but the impression I got was that he was thinking of wearing something like this:

Which, of course, looks utterly horrible in any context.

Again, I don't see anywhere in his post where he used the word 'silver', or specified any particular colour for that matter.

Thanks. The sleeve is not longer but my lower right arm make it look like that (aided by my posture, probably): that will be fixed cutting the left sleeve only.
So, I want to keep it but now I started wondering about trousers to go with it: the cream (or is that tan?) in the picture don't look bad but not great either, I think. My dark browns will be too dark and also my greys, navy, I'm not sure... what would you pair it with ?

How long should a tuxedo jacket be? Is it proper to have the jacket the same length as a suit jacket or is there another standard I should be on the lookout for? In my opinion, a suit jacket should just about cover the butt, but I'm wondering if tuxedo jackets are traditionally just a tad longer. Thanks so much.

Wow, you're right. I musta misread "suit".

Sorry about that, whoever you are. You didn't deserve all that shit.

A suit vest must be purchased as part of a suit.

Nobody is going to offer those on B&S.

Does anyone have experience with the John Smedley Ashmount here? I'm looking to get something better than J-crew and the high v-neck and slim fit is what I want in a sweater, but the $190 is making me pause. I tried ordering on the UK site, which would only be 100 pounds=155 dollars without VAT, but it won't let me checkout. :brick:

Does anyone have any thoughts about the fit of my suits that I posted earlier in this thread?
Any advice is appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Quick question: would I do better with a white shirt here?

Jacket is brownish gray and tie is green wool. Wanted to do a cream shirt with this, but I've been shopping today and found nothing that fits right... so my options right now are either blue or white...

EDIT: This is how it looks with white (and no flash):

I'd go with white, especially if it's a suit.

I just purchased a couple of Borrelli Napoli shirts from yoox, and they arrived this afternoon.

The label on these is "London exclusive" with the Borrelli "B" logo above it.

I've never seen this labeling before. Is this some off-brand or made-exclusively-for... clothing?
