Those look very nice, but if you're looking at a lot of water you'll want something lined with gore-tex or else your feet will get wet.

    Consider something like this: http://www.amazon.com/L-L-Bean-Gore...O6/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1320046030&sr=8-15

It's a ridiculously short jacket, by some tasteless idiots.

What is the proper name fot derby shoes? I see many people wearing suede derbys but when I search I get nothing. Is there another name for them?

Derby is one of the proper names, but they can also be called bluchers.

What factory makes the AE Italian collection loafers? Also, do they need to be broken in, and as such a smaller size should be purchased? Or do they stay the same size throughout, no need to size down? I would like to purchase the AE Verona, but i have some questions beforehand, thanks.

I'm wearing a v-neck sweater with a buttondown collar shirt for the first time today and my collar extends entirely out of the neckline of the sweater, making it look kind of odd. Am I doing something wrong?

Perhaps the collar is too large, or too starched. I think that combo looks best when the collar seam and button-down button are just snugged into the v-neck, but it's a hard fit to get right.

You need a trim-fitting shirt that won't bunch around shoulders, and a sweater that's not too tight so the collar won't pull out of a v-shape into a U. Then there's the problem of a too-deep V. So a lot to consider overall.

This Cucinelli look from N-M is pretty close: http://bit.ly/rwM5gI

Where can I get a pea coat for under $400? I dont want black, I am aiming for gray.

    It must be fitted

I dont care about the brand

I would prefer to get something that does not contain synthetic fabrics

I am hoping to get a piece of good quality.

    Thanks guys.

    1. Is the C&J 341 last more or less sleek than the AE 8 last? What about C&J 341 versus C&J 337?

    2. Is 14 oz flannel appropriate for the current San Francisco climate? Highs range from low 60s to low 70s.

    Thanks.

Hey there guys. I'm a pretty small guy and have been eyeing a nice ROTM shirt. They are on pre-order and cannot be returned since it's made-to-order. My collar size is best at 14" with 14.5" having a little extra breathing room and I am also a 36s perfectly.
The shirt in question has sizes XS and S.
Here is the measurement chart: http://i41.tinypic.com/1zwcfie.png
The XS is 14" neck and 17.5" in the chest while the S is 14.5" neck with 19.5" chest. My question is will the S be too big? Or will the XS be too small? I'm mainly concerned with my chest. I'd really love to buy the shirt because it's one of the essentials. The sleeve on the XS would be just right.
Someone on the B&S forum was selling their shirt here said it was too large for him and it seems the measurements are about the same for this season's shirt.

    Thanks a lot fellas!

Pretty much everyone who makes good shoes. C&J, Grenson, AS, Vass, G&G, EG, Lobb, etc, etc, etc.

I don't think Grenson counts anymore unless it is masterpiece, or the diminishing rose collection. I would include Church's and Cheaney, and AS

I just bought this suit off ebay. If it's a Chester Barrie from 1984, I expect it would be pretty well made. The measurements are all fine for me.

Quality-wise, is it good deal for $100 or do I chalk this one down to experience?
