Should I sell my WWM Maine guide jacket that I never wear because it hasn't been cold enough all year?

I have a question for the learned people of SF:

I plan to have a dinner suit made - SB with peak lapels.

I'm going to get a waistcoat made as well.

My question is this: what lapels (if any) should I get for the waistcoat?

I'm likely going opt for one that has a back, as I'm not too worried about overheating. I also would prefer a deep v or u-shape, to properly showcase the shirt studs.

I done some preliminary searches on SF and from other various Internet image galleries, but haven't seen anything definitive.

    Thanks in advance.

Either the second or third. Third, being less wide, would probably be most office appropriate; slender belts are super apropos in the office right now. First is altogether out if you're in any kind of conservative office.

Need some quick suggestions for re-placing my professional wardrobe.

I'm an MBA student going into finance (think Wall Street / investing), and my first and only suit was purchased 10 years ago (yikes!). Obviously I'm on the younger side, and I'm not 100% sure I'm going to need to wear suits every day, so for right now its interview-only + special occasions. However, I would like something sharp enough to last if I end up having to wear a suit every day.

    So:

What's a good brand and place to look for decently-priced suits? Should I go charcoal + navy if I was going to buy 2?

More pressing, what about necktie options? What store? What patterns/colors would you suggest if I was going to pick up 4-5?

(Definitely open to thread suggestions as well)

    Thanks!

Shame you don't like the McAllisters in merlot, it's a great looking shoe. What kind of style are you looking for? More like AE American style, or something British or Italian?

Salvatore Ferragamo, Santoni, Bruno Magli, it should be enough to start. Maybe someone will provide more suggestions.
