Thinking of buying a suit with a 35" waist, and I'm a 32...would it be worth buying just bring the waist in? Or would it not be worth it, seeing how everything else might be overly baggy?

Total noob question here: why do high-end shirts (Isaia, RLPL, etc.) lack sleeve sizes? Is it just assumed that the purchaser will be having them tailored?

I've read the thread about shoe care regarding how to clean, polish, and condition, but all of that thread seemed to focus on the outside of the shoes.

What products are best to condition the inside of a shoe?

Also, what products are the way to go for keeping suede/nubuck properly conditioned? I can't imagine how you would apply any form of oil or liquid to suede without ruining it, but it must have similar requirements to surfaced leather in terms of maintaining it's balance of natural oils, etc?

Grey, maroon, or navy, maybe even could get away with something green. But make it a solid or pindot. Nothing with stripes.

While I am not a fan of polyester, if it fits you well then that is half the trick. The Herringbone pattern is one often used in sportcoats, so it should be fine to wear as you intend. As for the one button on each sleeve, I couldn't say. I don't know that I've seen a jacket with one button on each side but it is certainly possible. If the buttons are cheap (and if it's polyester they probably are) consider picking up a whole new set of matching buttons and sewing them on yourself. You can get a plastic set for less than $5.

Question: Can I make an unvented jacket into a vented jacket somehow? It feels like there isn't quite enough fabric to make it happen, but I'm going to be taking the jacket in a bit, so there would be more fabric when that happens...
