Measuring on your own body isn't easy. Depending on why might be better to measure something that fits you well.

If you just want a shoulder measurement do an over the arm measurement.

That thread in your signature is posted in a B&S sell forum. Buy and sell.

    Hey guys,

    If I'm a UK 5.5E with G&G's, what size would I be with C&J's ?

    I see a couple of C&J in 6's @ pediwear and very few 5.5's :(

I just had one of my pairs of Church's resoled at the local cobbler. He put on soles with the following label:

    CUOIFICIO
    (tree logo)
    LA QUERCE
    SUPER PRIME
    MADE IN ITALY
    10/11

There is no sign of Goodyear Welt on the sole of the shoe, as was visible on the original soles. The upper does appear to be welted to something (midsole?).

Are the soles only glued to a midsole or was some other 'invisible' welt used? Can anyone help me understand the procedure the cobbler may have used? I paid $100 for both shoes. Did I pay a fair price? This is the first pair of shoes I've had resoled. Aesthetically, they look great.

I don't think it makes a difference. The shoe trees are primarily there to maintain the shape and remove moisture after they've been worn. As long as they aren't being squished in the box you should be fine to use those trees in another pair of shoes for the time being.

Are all chukkas as wide as Clarks DB? I'm looking for some chukkas, but don't like the wideness of clarks...

Try Clark's Flannery boots- I have a pair and it looks a little bit thinner. Not sure if it still qualifies as a chukka though.

I am looking for some new loafers. I am willing to spend about $200. Any good values out there?

Hi guys, I'm new here and I have a quick question. I've always taken pride in the way I look but I've recently come to realize that my clothes don't fit my body type very well. I'm 5'7 and thin, most of clothes seem to fit pretty loose and I would prefer a European/slimmer type fit. Is it possible for a tailor to change to cut of my clothes? Would it even be cost efficient? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your advice!

How do I create a new thread in the "buying and selling" section? I can't find any button anywhere.
