Here's a quick question - anyone know a good tailor in DC who can put functioning buttonholes on a sportcoat? I just bought a new Isaia sportcoat from STP and want to get the buttonholes put in. FYI, I already checked the rest of the forum through searches and I already called Field's, who asks $25/buttonhole (LAME.)

Try London Tailors in Bethesda. I've used them for alterations and they advertise for custom suits so I imagine they're capable of putting in working buttons. They did excellent work on my jacket alterations.

Not that I know of

What is the retail price of John Lobb Alligator loafers. MTO, not bespoke (so obviously Lobb Paris)?

Amputation.

Or, if that's too drastic, try taps. You might also want to see a podiatrist for a gait analysis, especially if you have back pain issues (which can be caused by untreated pronation).

How much do Cleverly RTW generally cost? They're having a by-appointment trunk shoe in SF and I don't want to waste their time if they are totally out of my reach.

I'm looking for a store to get a cheap (sub-$30) solid navy grenadine or knit tie, but I still want decent quality. I'm thinking J. Crew at the moment, anywhere else I should look?
