i'm rather new to buying suits/coats
i am planning on buying a trench coat
i am stuck between a 38R,40R,42R
i am very bad at measuring, and i am not sure on sizing =/
i generally wear a size 39/40/41 shirt
aka a 15.5/.15.75/16 dress shirt
can anyone give me advice to what size i should be looking at?

I'm a 40 Italian shirt and a 50 Italian jacket coat. Of course in some things I'm a 52. Basically you really should just try the thing on.

How often does Grapevine Hill get new inventory - specifically Ralph Lauren and Allen Edmonds shoes?

quick question about the fit of some new stuff I bought.

I bought a wool cardigan and a sweater, and when I bought them they fitted perfectly, and now maybe 2 weeks later they both feel looser and not as well-fitting anymore.

What do I do to get them back to the way they were when I bought them?

Can anyone tell me about the quality of this shirt? It must be an older style, because I can't find any exactly like it using google.

My brother-in-law, who considers himself very classy, bought an OTR sportscoat with the 2 vents on the back still sewn with a couple of big XXX stictching.

He left those there.

Is that supposed to be uber-chique or (as I think) really silly?

The latter. They're left on the jacket to protect it during shipping and are intended to be removed before wearing.

Hate to repost but does anyone know Barney's in-store return policy? Their website only lists their online return policy. Thanks!

As a general rule in casual sportjacket looks, should the tie match the jacket?

Has the Ralph Lauren Darlton wingtip been discontinued? It's not on their website anymore. I think this is exactly the wingtip shoe I want...it's a blucher, and has a gorgeous brown color.

Could you consult your crystal orb and predict my 2010 custom purchases? Should I scale back or go full throttle
