Any recommended makers of slim, flat-front trousers? Bespoke might be the way to go with my frame, but I'm hoping for some luck with OTR.

You might have better luck with one of the dedicated watch message boards out there. Sorry I can't recommend which would be your best bet there are some very knowledgeable posters around.

Hello all, first post on the forum (been lurking for a while), and in typical fashion it is a question.
I know this is a matter of taste, but, are these lapels too wide? I think they add a bit of panache but am sensitive to looking like I walked out of 1974.

    Cheers,
    CB

Your lapel width should be relative to your tie. Are you willing to wear a tie that wide?

How wide? Most of my ties are 3.5". The one in the photo looks fine to me.

    Cheers,

Look at more fashion oriented brands for flat-front slim-fit pants.

Is a Zegna Trofeo NWT jacket worth $427? see link here: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-ERMENEGILDO-...item2310e3ce44

i'm just about to pull the trigger.

With the deals that can be had on SF's B&S, no, if it was a 15mil15mil I would say go for it if you really like it, but you can get Kiton/Isaia/Brioni for those monies here on SF.

Is this a coral colored linen (or linen blend) sportcoat suitable for business wear in the summer (in the southern US)? Or is it just a weekend garden party thing? I am considering making one MTM for me in the swatch color below; a similar shade is pictured on BB's latest catalogue [IMG]

Trying to decide between the Brooks Brother's COuntry Club Single or Double-Breasted Blazer:

I like the Double-Breasted but am concerned it will be 'too much'.

For example, could it be worn to a professional /business setting at all? At the same time, I do like to have one double-breasted item, and I want a blazer with those precious metal buttons.

Stay away from the db unless you are 60 yrs old and going grey.

This fits great, but I am unsure if it's dated or ratty looking. Thoughts? [IMG]

Getting married this Sunday at 2pm.

MTM dark gray 3-piece; one button & peak lapels, DB lapelless vest. Black AE Park Aves, black and silver Prince of Wales tie. Small white rose in the buttonhole. Groomsmen and ushers in dark suits with wedding ties, black shoes, and small dark pink rose boutonnieres.

Jacket: button when standing and unbutton when sitting, or lean more toward unbuttoned since it's a 3-piece?
Glasses: gray rimless titanium or tortoiseshell acetate?
Vest: pocketwatch on a chain or skip it?
