hello everyone i took a look at mens wearhouse and i like ae lombard they have, also their buy 1 get 1 50% off also seems kind of a good deal, but i've never heard anything about them,is their site legit if so are aes sold there seconds or something?because their prices are very good and that made me suspicious, anyone bought aes from them?how is it?

I purchased two pair of Van Ness from them recently. They are fine as far as AE quality goes, not seconds. One thing about Men's Wearhouse, the shoes from AE are not leather soled. I thought I would give them a try and am happy with the decision.

Does anyone know if I can wash a 100% cotton blazer in a washing machine without destroying it? A little shrinkage would be fine, I'm just worried about destroying it as the tag says dry clean only.

The jacket is a brooks brothers 100% cotton twill blazer, the material is fairly thick / heavy. The interior is lined with what looks like chambray, sleeves are lined with polyester. Thanks.

I'd be REAL worried that the fabric would be fine, but the seams would be wrecked. The cotton, the lining and the interlining can all respond in different ways to the washing, and you could end up with weird puckering, pockets that won't close, collar not laying down etc. I'm really a novice on clothing care, but what I *have* learned tells me that this is a bad idea.

Why would you want to do that?

Hi guys, new to the forum

    need your people's help.

Anyone heard of the brand Marzoni? They carry a large selections of fabrics (wool, linen, velvet, cashmere)
I suppose it's somewhat related to the Marzotto? or is it just some unauthorized brand?

I was looking at dress pants. What is the big difference in quality and construction between differently priced pants? If you were to take a pair of Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss and Canali dress pants what would be the difference in quality and construction. What would make the more expensive Canali pants any better.

I've heard good things about some lines of Boss and have Canali. Based on my experience with CK - I'd never buy thier clothes. Perhaps consider if the companies make fused jackets. If they are fused- I'd save the hassle and expect pants to be of similar quality. Not saying the technicality is the same but does make me believe they care less.

Canali is awesome- their prices are high for sure but amazing fabric.

Where can I get wooden heels? Bnelson refuses to sell their stock and I refuse to mail shoes from DC to NYC for their heels.

I don't like that the Allen Edmonds shoes from Mens Wearhouse have rubber soles

Looking to get a briefcase/carrying case type thing for work. I want to be able to carry documents (duh), pens, pill cases, and a 17 inch laptop. I'm assuming the latter is the hardest one to figure out. I'm looking for something black, and with a long strap, so I can wear it around my shoulders. I want it to be professional.

The lining would shrink at a different rate than the shell, and you'll end up with puckering and a generally odd appearance. If it was unlined or a synthetic-only lining, you could do it. In fact, I have synthetic-lined BB cotton blazer that says it's ok to machine wash. I wouldn't do it with yours.

Wear mid-calf socks. Or try vaseline.
