Whats the best way to repair when the rubber part of the heel wears down?

Have plastic heel taps put on them so you don't have to worry about it.

I might be getting a really nice pair of bally driving mocs, they are truely gorgeous, and i think that they look formal enough as to wear them in most tie required functions. My question is, with shoes like this should i wear socks? I'm dead serious when I say that I never wear socks. Only for track do I wear them. Will freefooting in the shoes ruin them like my sperrys that i replace each year?

Yes, as long as they're balmorals.

How much can a tailor take in a waist on a pair of cotton casual pants? I have heard 1 to 2 sizes, but is this correct?

For instance could a size 36 be taken down to a size 34 and still look right?

Easily, do it all the time. (My size is 29", and most pants I can find are 30, which actually always measures 31"+)

Are there ANY North American stockists for saphir renovateur conditioner?
Had no clue it was so hard to find here, and just used the rest of my last jar I brought from Japan
