Another "new job" post: Laid-off, returned and finished school, starting different career. Dark skin, dark hair, in my 40s. New dress code is bus. casual. Definitely want to look my age--whatever that means. Due to previous expenses, I'll have to wait some months before really adding to my wardrobe. Here's what I have: Brown, grey and blue tweed sport coats Grey odd jacket Grey suit, charcoal suit Navy blazer Black gabardine, grey flannel, dark brown herringbone trousers I have plenty/all colors of shirts, sweaters, shoes and ties (all I ever did before, was wear the suits) So, I was thinking that I should invest what little I have into trousers/pants since this will be a 6 days-a-week deal. However, I am clueless about color coordination. What interesting, new colors/combinations should I look for, to stretch my wardrobe?
