What do you guys think of these for casual sneakers? You guys suggested white converse but they're just not really my style, I have more of a gritty style if you know what I mean so what about these.. Too childish or okay for a 19 year old?

    Shorts - I need some.

I wore a pair of the outlier 3 way longs and reigning champ sweat shorts all summer last year. I'm looking for something else when the weather is too much for anything other than shorts.
I like tech fabrics but want something with an interesting cut or details, without spending $600 on diaper butt RO's. Something other than just a straight up pair of shorts. Anybody have any ideas?

Can anyone recommend some casual trousers with a strong taper but still some room in the thigh? I'm at about a 32 waist but anything that fits decently below the knee is skin-tight above. Oddly enough, the only trousers I've found that fit off the peg are Gap 1969 Live-in slim, but the general quality is obviously lacking...

Most Rakuten sellers ship internationally - I buy from Rakuten sellers in Japan frequently, and they get things to me in the UK just fine. So yeah, you shouldn't necessarily need a proxy from Rakuten.

That said, I hear good things about http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/, though haven't used them myself.

can anyone do a simple wolverine 1000mile (or courtland) VS red wing beckman 9016 ? im going to uni in london so there'll be lots of rain, snow etc. i've heard that the 1k leather sole doesnt do the job very well but they look great.. the beckmans seem to be more of a durable choice, they also look great but id love the speed hooks and the toe box is WAY too bulbous.. and are which of the two is more durable in terms of leather? some ppl said the hard and stiff leather of the beckman should do better but i've never came across any comments about the 1k.. thank you :D

Hi guys, I want to get a few drawstring bags to store my leather bags. I have some bags that do not have anything to cover/store. Where can I get those bags? Or is it correct to store leather bag in drawstring bag (briefcase, duffel, backpack)?

    Thanks

Can one add buttons for braces onto trousers which originally do not have them? Should one avoid or go ahead with that?

If I start my own thread, can I moderate it though I am only at 48 posts or so? For example, could I start a fit and look thread where actual free speech is allowed, and there are only two rules: 1) No spam, 2) The people in the pictures must be wearing clothes?

How much cheaper, generally speaking, are Japanese brands in Japan? Half price? Two thirds?
My brother in law is stationed over there and coming back in July. Was thinking of asking him to grab me some Vis FBT's and denim jacket if the price difference is significant enough. Anybody know?

If you have a old pair of vans you can use those laces instead. A good temporary solution.

Thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately I don't. So you don't know of any companies that manufacture and sell similar high quality shoelaces?
