There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I would advise against a shiny satin tie.

Is it at all possible to find a non-waxed version (pre 2012 iterations if my research is correct) of Julius Gasmask Cargo pants? I wear a small, 29-30 in US sizing. I've been told to keep an eye on rakuten, which I have been for the better part of a year and have not been able to find what I'm looking for. Are there any other places I can look? Maybe a buy thread on SZ...

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm looking for the slim/tapered version of the cargos, Julius has many versions of cargos but I'm looking for some similar to the pictures below:

Is it just me or jeans with (white) canvas plimsols look off? I looked like those sporty college guys when I saw myself in the mirror. And no, my jeans are not baggy or anything.

    Hello all,

I'm in need of a sportcoat.

Mostly, I value versatility. I would like to wear this with both jeans and chinos. It will not perform double duty as a suit jacket, I have suits.

I am pretty OCD about quality. Really like things made domestically (I live in the US). Not really a brand whore, so labels don't impress.

    Any thoughts?

I've always wanted a tweed for a workhorse piece. I could find a tailor and have something cut, but am not against OTR.

I live in SF, so if you know a tailor, fire away.

    Thank you!!

Sounds like you're looking for a navy blazer.

Haha. Thanks for the quick reply.

I have a navy blazer. It's a little dressy/conservative for me to wear out all the time. No disrespect to a staple.

I'm thinking something that I can wear with dark jeans/color #8's, or with chinos/cognac boots. Wool, preferably, no gold buttons.

Maybe there is no such piece. But a guy can hope, right?

I would look for a tweed blazer for the fall/winter/spring and for a khaki or linen blazer for the summer.

I've been wearing a pair of APC new standards for about one week, and there is now a stiff bulge in the upper part of the seat, making my ass look disproportionately larger. I'd guess continued wear would eventually cause it to drape properly, but I'm hesitant to wear these because the bulge looks quite foolish.

If you have experienced this, what did you do to work it out?
