Can someone please help me in identifying some brands that make skinny trouser/slacks for less than $100 per pair?

I have very thin ankles and want to find a pair with a very small opening at the ankle and also skinny through the leg/thigh...not skin-tight, but I want them to be form-fitting

ASOS and Topman offer skinny in the right fit, but the pictures online appear to be closer to chino material and they look fairly wrinkly....I would like something a little more rigid, like a trouser...

PLEASE hook me up with some good brands....THANKS!!!
Something that I can wear to work...

Going barhopping in NYC with cousins later on this month. Is there anything wrong with going classy and wearing a dress shirt, dress pants, tie, and a pair of brown shoes? Or is this too formal and I should instead just stick to a dress shirt and nice jeans?
Don't ever wear a tie without a jacket. It makes you look like an employee, or a geek, or someone who is obviously trying to "dress up." It just looks bad. Wear a jacket without a tie instead, and if you don't have a jacket that you like well enough, skip the tie anyway. You'll still look better than your friends.

I'm sure there is at least one brand out there whose pants will fit you just the way you want, without any alterations, but finding the perfect pair could be difficult and time-consuming, if not impossible. If I were you, I'd go around to brick-and-mortar stores (such as department stores) and find the pair that fits you best right off the rack. The most important aspect of fit to get right is the upper block (waist/hips/butt). Take that pair of pants to a tailor, and have them tapered/slimmed to your liking, and you're set.

I've had a pair of Louis Vuitton Damier Elan in Ebene for a while now and I really don't know what kind of pants I should wear with them. I've worn it once or twice with a dark blue pair of jeans but I don't really think that looks too great. I gave a try with light beige chinos and that seemed to look okay, but brown shade (shoes) and another brown shade (chinos) is that a bit odd and or too much? I look forward to any suggestions, thank you!

Hi, I had started a thread on this, but I guess maybe this thread is more appropriate. I am looking for nonconventional styles of t-shirts. The one I saw on a passerby this weekend had these properties:

a) black, athletic fit shirt
b) it was made made of a slightly coarsely woven but soft-looking fabric
c) the collars and sleeves had no (obvious) hem stitching or binding, but instead finishes as a small, tight curl on the edge.

I've been poking around online and even making the trip up to NYC to poke around the shopping districts, but not much luck. Any pointers as to finding similarly interesting-looking, alternative/artsy/modernist t-shirts, I would appreciate very much.

I think you can do a tie without a jacket, but the tie can't look too dressy. If you're going to do it I would go with something like a cotton, perhaps seersucker, or silk knit tie, OCBD with rolled up sleeves. If you're looking to be a bit more dressier, than yes I would recommend a jacket with no tie rather than a tie with no jacket.

Something that I can wear to work...

You may want to change your approach, spend a little more, and get epaulet trousers. They are exactly what you are looking for, just cost a bit more. They are worth every penny, and you will save a bunch of money in the long run as you won't have to keep trial and erroring all over the place.

Can anyone comment on how Roberto Collina knits fit? For reference, I'm on the bigger side of a US 42.

This may be a long shot, but I figured maybe a few of you might know.

I have been looking for a pair of sneakers. Think more Vans, not gym shoes. Although I am not a fan of Van's thick soles. Yesterday I saw this man wearing a pair of sneakers that is pretty much what I had in mind; the logo on the shoes is what appears to be two palm tree branches forming sort of a circle.

Does anyone know what brand of shoes they might be? I know this is not a lot to go by. Thanks in advance!
