Negative, but I'm sure with the millions of tailors likely to reside in NYC, it shouldn't be hard to find one that does decent work for a decent price. The alterations you're talking about aren't super intense or anything, but you do want to make sure your tailor knows what he's doing (send a cheap shirt to him first to test the workmanship so you don't send an expensive item and save $5 by ruining a $150 shirt or something). Maybe ask in one of the NYC shopping/advice threads and see who others use

If you're in a rush and not looking to drop dick, check out H&M, they have slim dress pants for like $40

Hey, I got a shirt that looks like this -> http://www.hm.com/se/product/92391?article=92391-B although it's dark blue.

I've never worn shirts like these before but seen people pull them off pretty nicely. Now I wonder how do I get along with one.
What jeans/chinos would fit (got beige, blue and black), and what is best to have under the shirt? I guess a shirt, but how should it look? Plain coloured, or something else :)?

    THanks in advance!

    First post here :D

I've found Hugo (red label) dress pants to be slim and reasonably priced (less than $100).

I got a pair of S5000VX from BiG a few weeks ago. I soaked them in warm water once (while wearing them) for 30 mins. They're still too big in the waist and a bit too big in the legs. Should I soak them again in hot water? This time without me wearing them (and no agitation of course) to achieve "maximum shrinkage"?
I want to get them hemmed and am sick of swapping out jeans, so I'm really hoping these work for me.

    Hey,

I'm thinking about getting myself a TOJ Parka and was wondering what kind of boots that would go with that type of coat? I usually wear slim/skinny jeans, if that helps.

    Thanks, Alexander
