What are the arguments against wearing a business shirt in a casual setting like a home, family, college, etc?

    Hello
Anyone has any experience with Diesel Black Gold chinos ?
They are sized in regular Italian size , but I know nothing of their actual fit.
I would need a 44 it which would be the counterpart to a 27 diesel black gold jean.
Can I go for it ?

Can someone recommend me a europe based or UK? I see so many shops such as Epaulet and Unis which are US located and I can't find any site like this that wouldn't incur the wrath of customs and VAT!

    Any help is appreciated guys.

question about tailoring shirts. I went in to a local tailor to ask about how much it would cost to taper, shorten length and shorten sleeves for a dress shirt and was quoted a total price of $52!! Is it just me or does that seem way too much? I was considering just getting them tailored instead of ordering new custom made shirts because I already bought the shirts and like a lot of them outside of the fit issues, but at that price there's no way i'm going to do that.

I think the price broke down like this: $20 - taper, $18 -shorten length, $14 - shorten sleeves? I'll probably call Stanton Tailor in nyc tomorrow and find out their prices but was just wondering if this is actually a pretty standard pricing?

^That's not unreasonable. If you are going to do that much to your shirts, however, you should just buy new shirts. The tailor job won't come out as well as you think it will.

I'm skinny and don't wear regular dress pants very well, but I need a pair of pants for occasions where jeans aren't formal enough. Any suggestions?

What do you guys think about wearing a Barbour Microfibre Polarquilt in dark brown with OCBD, flannel or wool pants and work boots or leather shoes?

You could have PMed the guy, or read the following posts since it was posted multiple times on the same page. Diet Butcher Slim Skin, also known as DBSS
