1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Any tailor would be able to taper a pair of pants, assuming you aren't anal about the chainstitched hem

Pair is a singular group, but if you remove "pair", jeans can be used as a plural by itself

Also, can someone guide me to wehre I can find a pair of chinos that are fitted (tapered at from the thigh but not skinny pants because I dont think that my thighs well fit.)

    Thanks.

Thanks! I went ahead and purchased my dream jacket :inlove: (and found a leather dude who can shorten the sleeves, if needed).

Where can I get a parka just like this (slim fitting, removable hood, mid-light grey) for $400 shipped to Canada?

I love a pair of wingtip bluchers, but I realize that's a bit MC.

As for you other question, I know this thread is a bitch, but it's right up your alley.

I wear US 8 in Palladiums and Clarks Desert Boots. Which size should I get in Red Wing Iron Rangers?

Has anyone bought anything from http://www.ralphlaurenoutlets-online.com

They have polos for $35 in the colors I want. I don't know if they are knock offs or the real things marked at a reasonable price? I love the way the custom polos fit and would like to try the slim but the local store didn't have any.

Just curious if that site is legit or not. Thanks!

Hey Tyler. That site looks mighty shady to me. Ralph Lauren has a distinct online presence, and this, obviously, is not one of his sites (garments are misnamed, clothing lines confused, grammatical errors abound, etc.).

That's not to say the clothes won't fit well; they'll just be...fake, I'm guessing. For plain, slim cut, non-branded polos in that price range, you might check out Alternative Apparel. Those, I think, can legitimately be had online for around thirty bucks.

Thank you for the reply. I was a little leery about the site and whether or not the shirts were real. If no one else has ever bought from that site I will look into those polos you suggested. But after trying on the custom fit polos I don't think I will buy anything else unless it fits just as well.

Okay, so I want some slim-fitting grey wool pants to wander around the house/town in. Going to be pairing them with a plain white dress shirt and shoes/GATs for a casual look.

Can anybody recommend a comfy, good looking, affordable pair? I rather like these, for example, but can't help but feel they fit a little oddly below the knee (although, this might just be the model/photo).

Not exactly affordable, but exactly what you're looking for:

Hey guys. I bought a jacket a size down based on online measurements and recommendations from others. It may be too short in length for both the sleeves and body. What do you guys think?

With a shorter tee (alternative apparel):

With a shirt that is a tad long:

Sorry about the no shoes and gym pic. Thanks.
