Epaulet has some with detailed measurements.
Looks perfect but they've only got it in a small .
Help guide me in finding shoes that go well with a black peacoat and selvedge dark denim jeans.
looking for a fairly cheap knit black beanie, is there a groupthink consensus
bonus question should i just bump that FW accessories thread thats been defunct for 9 moonths
did you check the The streetwear shoes and boots thread...No sneakers please?
yea it depends on the rest of the fit but assuming you have a slim fitting peacoat and jeans a pair of slim black boots would be best IMHOTBQH
Where can I find this sweater or one that is very similar??
Google argyle sweater, I'm sure you will find a few million to pick through
Any recommendations for a winterproof M-65 coat?
With UNsanforized denim, after I give it an initial hot soak in order to shrink the denim. Can I expect stretching after that?
I don't know what the first part of that is supposed to say, but soaking removes shrinking, not stretch. Expect 1-2 inches of stretch, 3 in extreme cases. And then a little bit of shrinking/stretching again when you wash
i'm in the search for a nice vest. i recently bought this from the B&S section (http://www.styleforum.net/t/268999/lacoste-puffy-vest-50-4-black) and its great except for the fact that its a little bit too big for me. I'm looking to spend less than 150 if at all possible. Any suggestions?
Uniqlo has a few for $50: http://www.uniqlo.com/us/CPaGoods/itemcode=069088 I imagine they fit a bit smaller than Lacoste, but navy is the closest thing they have to black.
Uniqlo's +J down vest looks nicer than that one imo, though it's $100 and stocks may be running low by now: image. I have a +J down vest from fw/10 and while it's not a really high quality piece, the fit is nice and it keeps me warm.
Land's End makes some cheap down vests but I don't know about the quality and fit.
If you are *really* looking to save money, are into that sort of thing, or have an adventurous lady friend who enjoys it, thrift stores are just starting to throw out their winter stuff now, including vests. It might not be baller, but last week, for instance, I copped this new $1400 vest from Loro Piana. The total: about seven bucks.
