Know of any cheaper alternatives? I like the rounded, sneaker look of the front as oppose to regular DB's.

I live in a town that has really poor access to, well, most things. We have a few tailors who can do things like shorten pants but not much beyond that. I have shirts I want taken in and made slimmer. Are there any tailors that take work through mail? In other words, reputable tailors I can mail shirts to and have them make adjustments.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. You would have to give the tailor very specific instructions as to how to tailor the shirt. The whole point of physically going to the tailor is that they can see the garment as it fits on your body and make the necessary adjustments.

I would just go to your local guy and have him/her put darts in your shirt if you want to slim it down. These are very hard to mess up and the darts can be taken out if you don't like the results.

Thanks for your advice Biggskip. It's so frustrating not having access to good tailors.

Anybody got some Velva Sheen sweaters or t shirts? Or Columbiaknit? Think they're worth it?

Is there anywhere I can buy wings + horns service boot? I know that gravity pope has them for size 9.5 and 10.5, but I am looking for size 10 boots. I know rodengray and blackbird used to have them, but not anymore. Anywhere else where I can buy these? Thanks!
