Thanks for the information. Could you please explain what you mean by this folding flashing process that would require taking off multiple inches?

Anyone know a place where I can get some unlined cotton blazers to buy or know anyone who makes them? I have one light cotton blazer that I love to wear, but I was wondering if there were any other places I could cop some good ones since I bought mine from Urban Outfitters, and I would love to get better quality blazers or have some more. I prefer to have a lighter blazer to wear since most of mine are heavy/thick and usually never leave my closet.

i'm sure this question has been asked before, but what's the preferred way to clean a stain on new-ish raw jeans without washing? Using a bunch of water and scrubbing usually makes the stain go away, but it also wipes the indigo off and leaves a faded mark. any solutions are am i fucked?

You should just wash them, nothing else will be as effective.

how do apcs sneakers compare to cps? i know their not on the same level but what are the differences between them in quality?

I can't comment on APC's leather sneakers, but their canvas sneaker quality while below CP is not bad at all. I have the '09 canvas tennis shoes, they are leather-lined, made in Portugal and stood up very well next to a pair of Achilles (both pairs are very dirty, by the way, CPs just have this remarkable quality of always looking clean in pics).

Where do most people buy replacement laces for MMM GAT's?

    I was wondering this too.

Well that depends on what for and where you're looking. Most high retail places are on 2nd drops for spring collections, if you are looking for thicker fall/winter weight stuff, you'll have to work to find anything left from last fall. Fall 2011 stuff is just barely arriving so don't expect those to go on sale until December

Can anyone identify these? I know they're some version of a desert boot, but I'm not familiar with any of the more popular brands that offer such a sole. It's possible they have been resoled. If y'all think they have in fact been resoled and I wanted to replicate them, would I just ask my cobbler for a crepe sole when taking in an old pair of my Clarks desert boot? Thanks!

    Clark's have a crepe sole...

Yes, but I'm not interested in the pronounced heel. Would you reckon that these are a resoled pair of Clarks or something else entirely? If wished to get an old pair of mine resoled would I just ask for: "A crepe sole with no heel." or is there some other term? Thanks for the help.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Just bought a J. Crew x Timex field watch (white face), where can I get some decent grosgrain straps? Not looking to spend more than around $15.

    Candles.

Or, if you're feeling generous, buy some kids clothes to donate to a friend or goodwill.
