    Clark's have a crepe sole...

Yes, but I'm not interested in the pronounced heel. Would you reckon that these are a resoled pair of Clarks or something else entirely? If wished to get an old pair of mine resoled would I just ask for: "A crepe sole with no heel." or is there some other term? Thanks for the help.

i'm sure this question has been asked before, but what's the preferred way to clean a stain on new-ish raw jeans without washing? Using a bunch of water and scrubbing usually makes the stain go away, but it also wipes the indigo off and leaves a faded mark. any solutions are am i fucked?

I'm looking at this Our Legacy Great Sweat in navy. Should I size down or order true to size?

TTS. OL pieces are not designed to be shrink wrapped on you, usually a bit relaxed.

Anything. These are the most versatile Sperrys made IMO. I have this pair and wear them with jeans, khaki chinos, white chinos, green chinos, yellow shorts, blue shorts, green shorts, etc. They really work pretty well with everything.

Most of us here aren't like most of the guys in men's clothing, but have to wear slacks every now and then. Do you guys go no break, quarter break? Cuff or no cuff?

I'm looking for a leatherworker/artisan to do some custom work.

I have a crocodile leather wallet that I would like cut down and resized, and completely reconstructed. Does anyone have any suggestions or leads on how I might proceed?

That is pretty ridiculous - expect to pay at least $200 to an amateur to do something like that, never have it look good it again, and be disproportionate looking.

Thank you for your reply, impolyt_one. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?

If Tanner Goods can produce quality billfolds for $100, I'm pretty sure a wallet maker can rip some stitching, cut several slivers of leather from the billfold, and make a wallet out of the remaining hide.

they're gonna be bigger than slivers - they've got to fold flashing back under and then stitch it - it'd take at least an inch off both sides, this is how you sew. It's a pretty ridiculous request. Nobody would be really excited to do that job for you.
